Be glad this image didn't load.Yup. We did this. Us, apparently. All 800,000 of us.

SEGA just won’t cut the garbage with their hero Sonic the Hedgehog. Remember how you bought Sonic Unleashed, and hated it? Well, in buying Sonic Unleashed, you added your name to a list of over 800,000 people who bought the game. SEGA liked those numbers. Thus, Sonic Unleashed 2 is born. Continue reading

it’s been a while sense there was a release of gen plus for the wii so here i am to put it togeather and give you the emulaor.

GenplusGX is a sega emulator for the use of playing sega roms. this method hass been known to be better because seeings that nintendo has 68 VC sega games compared to the 900 made and released. with this emulator you can save room on your NAND by playing the rom straight off the SD card or an external storage device (flashdrive or HDD) leaveing room on your system menu for wiiware games.

the is a bit big sence rev 130 so i’ll post up the 3 most recent. anything from r378-392 are wiki based updates or no comments.

r375
added some GX_DrawDone sync to fix corrupted rendering

r376
modified FIR resampler default filtering rolloff

r377
updated SDL/Win32 sourcecode

to install wad file use wad manager to simply install the wad.
the wad is perfectly legal and has no nintendo copyright code in it.

for use of the homebrew channel add the boot.dol to the dir
sd:\apps\genplusGX
for adding roms make a dir int he root of ur storage device call it “genplusGX” in this file make 2 more dir call them “roms” and “saves” from there just add your roms to the proper directory.

i take no credit for the emulator or the banner in the wad i just compiled the code and slapped the emulator in the wad. enjoy.

here is an update on the FECU GX emulator. FECU is a nintendo NES emulator that allows you to play the roms of any NES game that you have or want to play on the wii. now out of the 500+ games out there made for the nes nintendo only has 84 of these games for download and play. witht this emulator you can save space on your wii’s NAND for wiiware games import and export games from the pc emulator and even network multiplayer.

changelog

rev392
revert incorrect tag

rev393
scrollbar up/down buttons fixed

rev394
fix zapper

rev395
sync with FCEUX

to install the wad simply use wad manager and install wad.

the wad is perfictly legal and has none nintendos copyrighted code in it. make sure you have a backup of your nand from the use of bootmii and have preloader installed just in case.

to install the dol simply add the boot.dol to a dir like so.

sd:\apps\FECUgx

and rnu from the homebrew channel.

to add roms make a dir  in the root of your sd card or external storage called “FECUGX” in this file make 2 more dir call them “roms” and “saves” and add your roms like so.

i take no credit for the emulator just compiling the code and for adding it to a wad file. the banner ont he wad i take no credit for. heres the files and enjoy.

i’ve got my computer workin properly for compiling wii homebrew again YEY!!. any ways time for the releases i promised every one now there only been 1 change sence the official 1.4.1 release sadly and for a changelog i only have this.

for people that don’t know and are new to the wii scene and homebrew snes9xGX is in fact a Super Nintendo emulator for the wii, and with this you can load your snes roms from your external hard drive (usb drive wether it is flash or HDD) or SD card. this emulator like amny others is most perfered over nintendo’s VC because well it’s fully compatable with any control method meaning you don’t HAVE to have a special attachment you can litterally sit and play with the wii remote and nunchuck if you want. plus theres no limit to storage (aslong as you have an sd card or flash drive to have it all on) doesn’t take up Any of your nand storage leaveing room for the wiiware games. theres 1 other function that i personally like and it’s the video filter if your on a sd or hd tv you can use the soft filter to give it that pretty HD look.

R503

scrollbar up/down buttons fixed

i take no credit for the code just for compiling it and putting it in a wad file. the wad is perfictly legal meaning there is NO nintendo code in it. it’s all lagit the wad channel is animated and i have personnaly tested it. it is still a good idea to have a copy of preloader and bootmii installed if you install the wad file.

to install the wad file simply use wad manager and install the wad

to install the dol simply make a file in your sd card or external storage and the dir should look alot like this

SD:\apps\snes9xGX

as for where u put your roms make a dir in the root of your storage you will be useing and call the file “Snes9xGX” in this file add another two files called “roms” and “saves” from there you can add your roms and if u wish to import saves you can.

anyhoo here ya are.

don’t have an SD card to run your Wii homebrew off of? want to test your Wii Homebrew application or game with out haveing to pull the SDcard out or change back and forth with the Flash drive? not an usse atleast not anymore.

Alot of people used loadmii back when the homebrew channel’s channel code was HAXX, but now with this app you can transmit that .dol file to run on your Wii through the network. just add your Wii’s ip address add the .dol file, choose whether you are running homebrew channel 1.4- or 1.5+ (HAXX or the new channel code JODI) then hit run and watch as the Wii begins loading the homebrew app or game. No more hassle with the SDcard or flash drive while testing something before actually adding to your collection.

the loadmii pc app can be obtained at the code.googe website

For some people that like this backup loader app here is an update with still NO Cios-Rev15 support now for the reason the dev refuses to make it cios38-rev15 compatible. He feels theres no need for makeing it Cios-rev15 compatible and that waninkoko may release a Cios-Rev16 to fix the issues in  cios-rev15. if your a wii dev or know anything about coding for the wii and want an error 001 fix do it yourself. the source code come with the app.

changelog

Known issues in beta 15:
- not compatible at all with cIOSrev15

beta 15 please test:
- IOS Version patched 002 game, but without patching anything else
- if Brawl+ works directly without the snapshot method

.wip files are expected in the NeoGamma folder.

The gameconfig.txt file, which is a required for Brawl+ and nothing else, is expected in the NeoGamma folder or the root of the sd card.

for the file here it be

NeoGamma R8 Beta15

Thats right Nintendo was Sued for get this “Illegally protecting game systems” reading that kinda makes ya want to laugh.

Ok the whole story one of the major flash cart companies was sued for making the carts for the Nintendo DS and DSi, however the Cort case ruled against Nintendo stating that “Nintendo is purposely locking out developers from their consles and that it should be more like Windows where anyone can develop an application or game”.

with this in mind flash carts are perfectly legal and with this could actually have another problem if they where to implement another block on the DSi systems, passably even the Wii (but seeings the Wii has a special devkit for developers  that costs big  I’m sure one day we will see indy games being made for the Nintendo Wii and DSi  in the possable future)
